Overview
The Fujiya KUROKIN Through-Tang Strike Cap Screwdriver is designed for installation, maintenance, and general service work where screws are rusted, seized, or stripped. The steel shaft runs through the handle to a large gold-plated strike nut, so hammer blows go straight to the tip to help break loose stubborn fasteners.
The 5.9" (150 mm) Si-Cr-V steel shaft gives good reach into boxes and equipment, and the large 1.6" (40 mm) cushion grip supports strong torque and comfortable repeated use. A magnetized black point tip helps hold screws during placement. Available in Phillips (+2) and Slotted (-6). Made in Japan.
Important: This is not a voltage-rated insulated screwdriver. It is not certified to IEC 60900 / VDE 1000V and is not intended for use on energized circuits. Always disconnect power and verify the circuit is de-energized with a tester before use. Fujiya notes that if the ceramic section is damaged or moisture enters the tool, electrical conduction may occur.
Want a ceramic-break version? See the Fujiya Strike Cap Screwdriver (526SK-BG/566SK-BG).
