Overview
The Fujiya KUROKIN Strike-Cap Screwdriver is designed for electrical installation, maintenance, and general service work where screws may be tight, seized, or difficult to start. Its rear steel strike cap allows the screwdriver to be tapped with a hammer to help loosen stubborn fasteners in panels, junction boxes, devices, and other electrical hardware.
Inside the handle, Fujiya uses a high-strength zirconia ceramic section that interrupts the direct metallic path between the screwdriver shaft and rear strike cap. This provides an added safety measure compared with a conventional through-tang screwdriver while maintaining the durability needed for controlled striking.
The large cushion grip supports strong torque and comfortable repeated use, while the magnetized tip helps hold screws during placement. Available in Phillips (+2) and Slotted (-6). Made in Japan to modern Japanese quality and safety standards.
Important: This is not a voltage-rated insulated screwdriver. It is not certified to IEC 60900 / VDE 1000V and is not intended for use on energized circuits. Always disconnect power and verify the circuit is de-energized with a tester before use. Fujiya notes that if the ceramic section is damaged or moisture enters the tool, electrical conduction may occur.

- Use all tools only for their intended purpose and within their specified limits.
- Do not use on live electrical circuits unless the tool is certified to IEC 60900 / VDE 1000V and marked accordingly.
- Only tools carrying that certification are rated for work near energized conductors.
- A plastic handle, resin shaft cover, or internal insulating component is not electrical insulation and will not protect you from shock.
- Always disconnect power and verify the circuit is de-energized with a tester before working on electrical equipment.
- Store tools in a dry location and keep them out of reach of children.
