Overview
The Fujiya FVA102-BG is a professional electrician's cable sheath stripper designed for fast, clean removal of the outer jacket on flat residential cable. It is built for Japanese VA / VVF flat cable, the equivalent of NM-B, in 2-conductor and 3-conductor configurations with 1.6 mm and 2.0 mm conductors (about 14 AWG and 12 AWG).
The slide-action design needs no blade adjustment: set the cable in, squeeze, and pull to strip the jacket without scoring the insulated conductors inside. Built-in gauge marks at 12 mm and 20 mm (inner) and 50 mm and 100 mm (outer) give consistent strip lengths every time. The die-cast aluminum body has a wide 4.5" (114 mm) handle opening that suits smaller hands, an opening stopper for safe storage, and a tether hole for elevated work. The blade is replaceable (FVA101-C). Finished in the KUROKIN black and gold. Made in Japan to Fujiya's quality standards.
