Overview
The IPS Light Pliers Blade Monster SW-200 is an 8" (207 mm) professional water pump plier with an ultra-thin 0.16" (4 mm) jaw tip, designed for machinery maintenance technicians and mechanics who need to reach into narrow gaps where standard water pump pliers won't fit. IPS rates the tip at half the thickness of its previous model and the tool 18% lighter, at 8.1 oz (230 g).
A five-position joint opens to 1.57" (40 mm) and grips pipe from Ø0.28" to Ø1.69" (7–43 mm). IPS's vertical-stroke design keeps the jaws at the same angle at every setting, so they meet the work squarely at any size. A built-in cutter handles soft wire and nails up to about Ø0.08" (Ø2.0 mm), and a safety stopper helps keep your palm from getting pinched between the handles.
