Overview
The IPS Sketti PLS-135R is a palm-size 5.4" (137 mm) mini combination plier designed for everyday jobs around the home and workshop, where a full-size plier is more than you need. At just 3.4 oz (95 g), it fits easily in a kitchen drawer or small toolkit.
A two-position joint opens to 0.71" (18 mm) and grips from Ø0.18" to Ø0.71" (4.5–18 mm), making quick work of stuck glue and paint tube caps, condiment containers that need separating for recycling, and furniture assembly and light repairs. The tooth profile is shaped for a firm bite, and a built-in cutter handles soft wire and nails up to about Ø0.07" (Ø1.7 mm).
The cationic electrodeposition coating is rated by IPS at roughly 10 times the rust resistance of nickel-chrome plating, and the red grips make it easy to spot. Made in Japan.
