Overview
The Fujiya Snap Ring Pliers are straight-jaw pliers designed for installing and removing C-type (circlip-style) snap rings used in mechanical, automotive, and general service work. This listing includes two variants: external snap ring pliers [FOS-185], used for snap rings that install into a groove on the outside of a shaft, and internal snap ring pliers [FCS-185], used for snap rings that install into a groove inside a bore.
At 7.25" (185mm) overall length, both variants offer controlled handling in tight access areas. The external snap ring pliers [FOS-185] support snap ring diameters from 0.39" to 1.57" (10–40mm), while the internal snap ring pliers [FCS-185] support snap ring diameters from 0.47" to 2.56" (12–65mm), covering a wide range of common sizes. A jaw lock mechanism helps hold the snap ring securely once engaged, while reverse-tapered tips improve retention and control during installation or removal.
